Solicitor Joy Kirby said Rohan Stanley Weaver has an outstanding revocation of parole warrant and was making no release application.
Weaver, 24, has been charged with a large number of offences and some of them are indictable.
All the matters against him were adjourned until December 22.
He has been charged under the name of Rowan and Rohan, which magistrate Tony Murray sought to clarify.
Weaver said the correct spelling was Rohan.
