The office, located on Beechworth Road, was unveiled by Benambra candidate Dick Wellard and upper house candidate Jenny O’Connor yesterday.
Mr Wellard, who has been the party’s candidate for a month, said there was a lot of work to do between now and election day on November 29.
“We’re really going to give this a go,” he said.
“It’s a huge ask.
“But we’re not going to sit back and let the major parties run all over us.
“We’re going to have a bash.”
The party hopes to have the centre open during business hours, which is dependent on volunteers.
“We have to do a lot of door knocking and there are a lot of posters to put up,” Mr Wellard said.
“We’ve got a strong North East membership.
“They’re all working very hard too.”
She said the Green vote was strong around Beechworth, Yackandandah and Stanley.
She said food security, health, education and transport were key issues for the party.
Cr O’Connor ran in 2010 and received 11 per cent of first preference votes.
