SHANE Colin Clarke was disqualified from driving for 12 months when he appeared in Albury court in April on a charge of drink-driving.

But just three months later, he was twice caught driving while disqualified two weeks apart and now has a ban extending until 2017.
Clarke, 21, of Alma Street, appeared for sentencing in Albury Local Court on the two disqualified driving charges.
Magistrate Erin Kennedy put Clarke on 18-month bonds for each of the offences.
He was disqualified for 12 months for the first matter and a concurrent two years for the subsequent offending.
There was a $750 fine for the second matter and Clarke has been ordered to complete a traffic offenders program.
Police were doing random breath testing in Alma Street about 4.16pm on July 13.
They saw a black Commodore drive away from a house where men had been arguing.
A check of the registration showed it had expired on May 27 and other police were asked to look for it.
But just a few minutes later, it returned with Clarke driving and police told him the vehicle was unregistered.
“I didn’t know. It’s not my car,” he said.
Police discovered Clarke’s licence was disqualified.
A police car was patrolling in Dean Street about 2.45am on July 26 and the road was wet after recent rain.
Officers saw a car turn into Dean Street from Townsend Street and then into Elizabeth Street without indicating.
It was travelling at excessive speed for the conditions and police stopped the car in Stanley Street.
There were four occupants in the car with Clarke driving.
The registration had expired on February 13.
Clarke was told their conversation was being recorded.
He admitted he did not have a licence and check by police revealed the disqualification imposed at court.
