For the next month The Border Mail will be releasing a #BMdailyphoto campaign encouraging photographers to capture insights into their life here on the Border.

The only catch is, we'll be releasing one theme per day - and you only have one day to capture it. 

Border Mail photographer Kylie Esler has kicked off the first theme of "SKY" with a photo she snapped of the sun poking through whispy clouds in Wodonga.

"It was actually a really boring project shooting 40km/h signs in High Street and I noticed the light kept changing," Esler said. 

"I looked up and the way the sun was poking through the clouds just looked really cool. I just about lost my sight staring through the view finder trying to capture it," she laughed.
