They will play host to the Echuca Pirates tonight at the Wodonga Leisure Centre before facing the Wangaratta Warriors tomorrow afternoon in a double header with the women’s side.
Troy Crawford said the men were looking to frank their form on the road and improve on their 3-1 win loss record.
“It’s good to be home this weekend after a long trip to Wallan last week,” he said.
“In front of a vocal crowd we were able to inflict a 40-point win over the newly introduced Wallan outfit.
“Now we play the Echuca Pirates, who are well-placed to play finals this year.
“The Pirates have already had good results over Wangaratta and Maryborough and will provide a great challenge.”
The Lady Wolves will be looking to maintain their perfect record when they take on a Wangaratta side brimming with Ovens and Murray netballers.
The Wodonga women had easy wins against Castlemaine and Seymour in the season-opening double header.
“While the girls won both games relatively comfortably, the team acknowledges that there is plenty of room for improvement,” coach Phil Brown said.
“Increasing our intensity in defence and improving our finishing in offence will be two key areas of focus.”
Tip-off is at 7pm with tomorrow’s double header from midday.
