After a barren run for three seasons, the Blues have started the season with back-to-back victories to climb to second on the ladder.
Skipper Todd Hannam said the arrival of Steve Jolliffe and Tom Marlow and the emergence of young Dave Rainbow and Tom Fowler had given the club a huge boost.
“We have had a fairly lean run over the past few years so it’s good to win a couple of early games,” Hannam said.
“Hopefully, we can continue the run.”
TRYC takes on Holbrook at Holbrook today.
Osborne should win against Uranqunity and power clubs Culcairn and Henty meet in a likely early grand final preview.
The ladder is: Culcairn 42, TRYC 36, Henty 28, Osborne 26, Uranquinty 13, Holbrook 12.
