After snaring six players from Eastlake this year, the Tigers have signed Aaron Wiles and Hayden Armstrong.
Wiles, 25, is a classy midfielder who was runner-up in Eastlake’s best and fairest three times since crossing from SANFL club Port Adelaide in 2011 and made the NEAFL team of the year in 2011-12.
Armstrong, 23, is a 197-centimetre centre half-forward who won the NEAFL Rising Star in 2011 and represented the league’s under-23s on several occasions.
“It’s fantastic to be able to land another two quality players,” Tigers coach Daniel Athanitis said.
“We tried to get Aaron this year but he was contracted.
“Our midfield rotations were exposed in the grand final and was an area we needed to bolster.
“Aaron is among the premier midfielders in the NEAFL and will have a huge impact and provide us with a bit more class.”
The Tigers have also re-signed Dean Roulstone, Ben Maiden, Mark Kimball, Tim Gray, Shaun Allan and Justin Mesman.
Full-forward Josh Warren-Marmo (Wodonga Raiders) is the only confirmed departure.
Athanitis said the Tigers could comfortably fit the recruits in under the league’s points system.
