Well, sort of.

The celebrity chef’s popular Ministry of Food mobile kitchen will set up camp in Wodonga in January for 10 weeks of healthy cooking and gourmet living.

Residents will be able to access and participate in a community-based cooking program; there will be two, five-week courses offered when the kitchen sets up in Wodonga Council’s Hovell Street offices car park.

It comes after the Border was pipped at the post in a bid earlier this year to secure a Ministry of Food pop-up kitchen for the twin cities for 12 months.

Wodonga mayor Rodney Wangman was thrilled the kitchen would be coming to Wodonga, as part of the Healthy Together Wodonga initiative.

“It is a great opportunity for Healthy Together Wodonga to identify and work with people passionate about healthy eating,” he said.

Classes will begin on January 19, and will cost $10 per session, or $5 concession.
