Cavanough bought the two-year-old for $82,500 at the Magic Million Gold Coast yearling sale earlier this year.
The leading trainer bought the colt with the idea of syndicating the galloper to female owners and targeting the lucrative Magic Millions Racing Women’s Bonus of $500,000.
Under the scheme, the $500,000 bonus payment is split four ways with $325,000 for the first all-women-owned horse home; $100,000 for the second to finish; $50,000 for the third and $25,000 for the fourth.

Witness A Star will make his debut at Rosehill and will only face five rivals in the $85,000 2YO Plate (1100-metres) with Hugh Bowman booked to ride.
“There is a lot of local ladies in the horse whose husbands have got horses with me,” Cavanough said.
“A lot of the blokes wish they were in the horse but instead their wives are.
“The wives are now turning up at the races and I’m not too sure if that is a good or bad thing.
“Hopefully if he can stay sound we can qualify for the Magic Millions.
“We are going to have to win at least $30,000 before the Magic Millions to qualify.
“We will try and get there and hope the horse holds together and I have loosely mapped out a three start campaign to earn enough to get to the Magic Millions.
“If he happened to win on Saturday and qualified, I would be over the moon.”
There are 16 women who have bought shares in the horse including Cavanough’s wife Lauren, Ann McHardy, Sharon Ceglar, Joy Cartwright, Jackie Elliott, Andrea Hehir, Sandy Edgar and Kerry Chapman.
Bernie Parker, Jennifer Endresz, Mary Judd, Ruth Nugent, Angela Ryan, Kerry Gregorio, Lynn Cole and Robyn Constable are also among the part-owners.
Witness A Star has had two official trials at Tatura and Albury where he finished outside the placings on both occasions.
“He has had two trials, one with blinkers on, one with blinkers off,” he said.
“His trial at Tatura looks like the form is going to stand up with the winner (Jacqueric) running fourth at Flemington on Melbourne Cup day in the two-year-old race.”
Witness A Star is quoted as a $51-chance in pre-post markets with the Peter and Paul Snowden-trained Paceman a raging $1.55-favourite.
