The festival, which has been running for four years, featured Bob the Builder, arts and craft and cooking classes.
Corowa Shire community relations manager Kendall Reid said the Big Air School had attracted an older audience to the event.
“They had BMX, skateboard and scooter demonstrations and workshops,” she said.
“They were a great addition this year.
“We think there were more than 4000 people at the event.
“Unfortunately the heat kept a few people away, but we’re still really pleased with the turnout.”
Ms Reid said the council was pleased with the support given to the event by community groups.
“The event wouldn’t be possible without them,” she said.
“More than 150 volunteers were involved throughout the day.
“The kids love it and find it really engaging.”
The festival was held at the Corowa racecourse.
