A MAN has been arrested after allegedly threatening to shoot another man.

The 21-year-old was arrested in Lyne Street at Lavington yesterday afternoon.
It is believed the man had been involved in a domestic dispute and had allegedly threatened to shoot a man at a Lyne Street home.
Police were alerted to the man in Wodonga and passed the job onto Albury police when he crossed the border.
It is understood the man claimed to have a handgun, which he would use the shoot the victim.
Officers searched the Holden Commodore but failed to find a weapon
Police also looked through the man’s phone.
The man was taken to Albury Police Station and questioned.
Police said the man was assisting them with their enquiries last night.
