POLICE have charged three Queenslanders over high-speed chases over several thousand kilometres in Victoria, NSW and Queensland, one of them through the Border region.

Benalla police first spotted what turned out to be a stolen Nissan X-Trail speeding on the Hume Highway at Benalla on October 29.
It reached speeds of about 200km/h and was involved in several pursuits as police chased it north up the highway.
Police in Wangaratta, Wodonga and Albury failed in their efforts to stop the vehicle.
Those in the car were also involved in the theft of petrol at the Kangaroo General Store at Ebden.
The X-Trail had been stolen from a home in the Brisbane suburb of Paddington late on October 26 or the next morning.
After police chases in three states, the car was found near Ipswich on October 31.
It had been partially burnt, apparently in a bid to destroy it.
A 17-year-old Ipswich girl who was arrested on Wednesday, appeared in court yesterday on charges of burglary, receiving stolen property, unlawful use of a vehicle, attempted arson, shop stealing and drug matters.
Two men had been arrested and charged earlier this month accused of involvement in stealing the car and the chases.
A 21-year-old Ipswich man has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and will reappear at Ipswich Magistrates Court on December 8.
A 19-year-old man from Deebing Heights, near Ipswich, has been charge with burglary, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, attempted arson, shop stealing and receiving stolen property.
He will reappear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on December 3.
Border police have said they would be unable to extradite the trio and charge them with any offences committed locally until the matters were finalised in Queensland.
