Norske Skog staff were presented the award at a gala dinner in Sydney on Friday.
Sponsored by Australian business lawyers and advisors, the award recognises a business that is creating a safe and healthy work environment through the implementation of outstanding Workplace Health and Safety management practices.
The mill produces about 274,000 tonnes of newsprint each year, which is about 40 per cent of Australia’s newsprint.
