The scratch handicapper had rounds of 71 and 74 to claim the title at Thurgoona at the weekend.
Lustig’s one-over par score was six shots better than his nearest rivals — teenager Liam Gransden and Vaughan Saunders.
Gransden’s performance earned him the junior title.
Lustig, who mixed it with Ernie Els as a junior in South Africa and Robert Allenby and Stuart Appleby as an amateur in Australia, said it was nice to put two good rounds together.
“I played good golf on both days but started getting a bit shaky with the putter on the last few holes,” he said.
“It wasn’t easy with the decision to bring the re-seeding of the fairways forward — they were wet and you couldn’t have played without preferred lies.
“But it is the end of a good season, with Albury winning the pennants and now this.”
Jason Cawthray won the nett competition from Andrew Grove, while Henk van de Ven won the seniors title.
