This is unjust, as it was actually my fault.
I had mistakenly chosen what I thought was the correct location on the day but had gone off course and didn’t realise this on the day.
Both the events department of council and Jason from the gardens had gone out of their way to assist me with a new location for our picnic, when I had to quickly find another location, as our original choice had become unavailable.
I have apologised to Jason as this was definitely not his fault.
