It defeated two teams from Henty at the weekend to claim the coveted trophy.
The semi-finals and final were played on the synthetic green at Rand.
The club appreciated the opportunity to host the finals.
Henty was successful in one semi-final, defeating a Culcairn team 58-51.
It was a runaway 18-shot win, 28-10, by skip Terry Donohue against Bruce Barber that paved the way for Henty.
The rink skipped by Gary Kern played a 20-20 draw against Culcairn’s Darryl Lawson.
Bob Taylor won the other rink for Culcairn by 11 shots against George Beckett, but the margin established by Donohue was too much to catch.
Howlong won two of the three rinks in its semi-final against another Henty team for a 66-48 win.
Ron Groves set up victory with a 26-11 success against John Kilo’s rink.
Bob Schneider won 22-17 for Howlong against Graham Scholz, but Bruce Diffey had a 20-18 win for Henty against Phil Slater.
The final was close and came down to the last end, with Howlong managing a 77-75 win.
Kern put Henty on the right track with a 31-21 win against Slater.
But Groves won 29-20 against Kim Maher and Schneider won 27-24 against Donohue to seal success.
The shield is held every year for country clubs in the Albury district along with Wagga District clubs Lockhart, The Rock and Yerong Creek.
Rand official Ross Nixon said it was disappointing it was held over just five rounds this year.
He said that was caused by Albury District pennants starting before Christmas for the first time in many years.
