Member for Ovens Valley Tim McCurdy, pictured, attended community meetings in Wangaratta and Peechelba yesterday and spoke with affected residents.

“The level of impact has ranged from people having no electricity for 24 hours to those who have had significant livestock, shedding, machinery, fencing and feed losses,” he said.

“Many people are enduring stress over an extended period as the fires burn.”
