Both had wins in the annual Lavington velodrome meeting on Saturday night and then backed up win as a pair in the Wagga Motors 100-lap Madison on Wednesday night.
This year the Maddison was extended to 100 laps (about 43 kilometres), with sprints every 10 laps for allocated points.
After the second sprint, two teams of Washington/Kilpatrick and Powell/Stewart went clear of the field and extended their lead lap by lap.
By the halfway mark they had lapped all of the other teams in the race.
At about 40 laps to go Washington made another decisive move and he and Kilpatrick broke clear, adding another lap to their cushion on the rest of the field and time to complete the distance with victory already secured.
