NORTH Albury footballer Jarrah Michael Maksymow appeared at court yesterday over two separate assault allegations and sought an adjournment until February to arrange legal representation.

It is the first time Maksymow has appeared in Albury Local Court over allegations he broke a man’s jaw after a touch football event in October and two days headbutted another man in a confrontation.
The details of both incidents were outlined in apprehended violence applications by four men against Maksymow, Kristopher Calum Crowther, 21, and a juvenile, 17.
Crowther has been in custody since his arrest in October over two separate incidents.
He pleaded guilty yesterday during a video link from Junee jail to a charge of affray relating to an incident at the taxi rank in Olive Street, Albury, about 3am on August 23.
But Crowther has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from the incident at Thurgoona allegedly involving Maksymow and the juvenile.
He has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company and assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault.
Magistrate Tony Murray adjourned those charges until February 4 for a hearing date to be allocated.
Maksymow, 22, of Baranduda, has been charged with offences of recklessly causing grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning actualy bodily harm from an incident at Lavington on October 6.
He faces charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company and assault occasioning actual bodily harm from a confrontation at Thurgoona two days later.
Mr Murray was told by police in October they had been unable to serve on Maksymow the applications for apprehended violence orders.
The case was twice mentioned in court and later a warrant was issued for Maksymow, who represented the O & M league last season and won North Albury’s best and fairest.
Mr Murray adjourned the charges until February 4 and advised him the apprehended violence orders continue for the protection of the four men.
