The street stock racer competed in the speedway’s first event of the season as part of the Victorian series.
The speedway fired up as hundreds of revheads turned out for the event organised by the Corowa-Rutherglen Speedway Club.
There were even some spills early in the afternoon, with one car driven by Ian Shortis rolling in a cloud of dust.
Spectators were particularly impressed by Beare’s driving style and the way he maintained a fast pace as he battled the corners.
They cheered as dust flew from wheels of the battled street stock vehicles.
About 90 cars competed across 40 races in the speedway’s event.
Beare stands as the Queensland, South Australian, Victorian and Northern Territory champion.
Among those competing were also Australian champion Robbie Faux and four-time former national champion Brad McClure.
There will be four other events held at the Wahgunyah Speedway this season.
