She and many others from Corryong to Corowa will perform their original music at the festival which has now been held for five years.
Emma and Albury High School duo Jayden Dunne and Mica Torre, warmed up for the event on Wednesday with a performance at the Thurgoona Country Club Resort.
Emma, who is 14, said she was excited, albeit a little nervous, about her chance to perform.
“It’s an amazing chance for young talent to be shown,” she said.
“I’ve done busking and a few Applause Festivals, but this will be my first concert. It’s a big thing for me.
“My sister, Jess, has played other years — I’ve taken it over to keep up the family name.”
Organiser Craig Dent said the festival encouraged musicians to create original songs.
“There’s free entry and there are several competitions, including creative writing and photography, that people are free to enter,” he said.
“It mainly attracts acoustic duo acts, but some young bands take part. It’s a chance for people to showcase their creativity.”
The event will be held on March 1 at the Thurgoona Country Club Resort from 2pm to 6pm.
