When APCO-IGA opened its new outlet in Wodonga, the price seemingly miraculously fell about 30 cents a litre.
Perhaps we could offer them small thanks by making sure we buy our petrol there.
If enough of us did this, it would send a great “people power” message and stall future price rises.
Better still, if we limited our fuel use just a little, it could send a powerful message.
Several countries, particularly Russia, are just as anxious to get our money as we are to get their fuel.
If we only made necessary trips and used a little less petrol, it would save all of us money.
Also, as we know, oil supplies will run out, but we don’t know when.
Limiting use now might get us used to the idea.
