Albury’s Culph took the $1500 cheque with a 6-2 6-4 victory over rising talent Alexander De Jong, of Canberra.
Culph dominated the first set of the final, but De Jong hit back in the second.
De Jong was leading the second set 4-1 when his rival upped the ante again.
“His experience was just too much for Alex,” Tournament director John Ferguson said.
“Culph rattled off five quick games and it was over.
Jade is a highly performed, professional tennis player who has won all there is to win in North East Victoria and south-east NSW.”
Culph also paired with Harley McCarthy to win the doubles final 7-5 6-1 over Declan and Jay Laginestra.
