The semi-finals will be played in the morning with the winners advancing to the final in the afternoon.
Lavington Panthers’ Bill Collins, Clarrie Klepiak and skip Vic Moore are drawn in one semi-final against the highly-rated North Albury team of Allen Ross, Gerald O’Brien and Norm Honey.
Honey’s team made it through the previous round with a 22-18 success against a Howlong team skipped by Keith Truin.
Moore’s team was successful 34-14 against a North Albury combination skipped by Bob Gough.
The other semi is between Commercial Club’s Merv Leitch, Graeme Maddox, skip Les Murphy and Howlong’s Jeff Brundell, Phil Slater and Wally Bourne.
Bourne advanced with a thrilling 22-21 win against Lavington Panthers’ Roy Dahmes, Ray Edwards and Ken Allen. Murphy’s team won 18-17 against Howlong, skipped by George Lee.
