Central Coast Mariners captain John Hutchinson has announced he will retire at the end of the season after spending 10 years with the club. One of the last players remaining from season one of the A-League will hang up his boots after playing more than 250 games for the Mariners, leading them to one title and two premierships.

"I'll be retiring from the A-League at the end of this season, all good things must come to an end, and I can't see myself ever playing for any other club in the A-League," Hutchinson said.
Meanwhile, Western Sydney Wanderers registered Yojiro Takahagi in their A-League squad after releasing Vitor Saba this week. Takahagi will wear the No.10 jersey of Saba.
