Osteohealth physiotherapist Lisa Barry said having the team sign up to the challenge for the second year in a row had helped raise the event’s profile.
“They are considered the best domestic women’s team in Australia,” she said.
“Women’s cycling is definitely a growing sport, so it’s great to see them on board.”
Mrs Barry was a member of the Bicycle Superstore team in 2012 and 2013 that saw her race in Tasmania, Ballarat and Queensland.
The team includes the Border’s Felicity Wardlaw and Taryn Heather who will meet other riders in Noreuil Park at the Bicycle Superstore stand after the ride.
They recently competed in the inaugural Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race.
