The unique speedway event pits riders who normally compete in different forms of motorsport such as dirt track, motocross, speedway, road racing and enduro against each other at the Diamond Park Circuit.
It means the usual four-rider fields turn into eight and in the case of the Sam Baker Plate, 10.
Club president Shane Clare said the plate was a test of strength and stamina.
“This race is held to show support for club member Sam Baker and his family, who continue to deal with the effects of a bad road accident Sam suffered,” he said.
“To be run as the final event of the night, the top 10 riders will battle it out over 10 laps.
“Being more than twice the length of a normal race, fitness and strength will be needed to win.”
Clare was also hoping to build on the success of the first round of the summer series.
“Round one action saw 90 riders taking to the track,” he said.
Racing starts at 5pm and concludes about 10.30pm.
