Officers were yesterday investigating break-ins in Myrtleford, Tangambalanga and Yackandandah that occurred on Saturday night or early yesterday.
The Myrtleford burglaries targeted several buildings at the town’s showgrounds, and thieves left with alcohol and a small amount of money.
A blunt instrument may have been used to force entry.
Details of the break-ins at Tangambalanga and Yackandandah were not available yesterday, but sporting facilities are believed to have been targeted.
Police were investigating possible links between the incidents.
