White has had outstanding warrants since failing to attend Albury Local Court in September and October 2013.
Police made a public appeal in December that year for White to hand himself in, but he has managed to elude the law until his arrest in Wodonga on Tuesday.
White, who turned 40 in January, appeared in Wodonga Magistrates Court yesterday morning and his extradition to NSW was granted.
Solicitor Sue Robey appeared for White in Albury Local Court yesterday afternoon and indicated a release application was being made.
It was opposed by police prosecutor Sergeant Rob Hough.
Magistrate Tony Murray said the Victorian criminal record for White did not extend past August 2013.
Mr Murray said he was not prepared to continue with the bail application until an updated record was available.
White said he did not want to stop in the cells at the police station and a Corrective Services truck was coming to take him to Junee jail.
“I can’t be stuck in a cell. I will go nuts,” White told Mr Murray and said he needed medication.
His bail application was adjourned until tomorrow and he will appear through a video link from jail.
The warrant issued in September 2013 involved a charge of driving without a licence.
The other warrant a month later relates to a charge of inciting the commission of a crime.
