In a major boost to the Cats remaining a finals force, Perczyk returns after playing a handful of games for Boolarra in the Mid Gippsland football league in 2013.
The strong marking forward had last season off.
Perczyk last played at Osborne in 2012 and was instrumental in the Cats winning the flag.
He booted 93 goals for the season including a match-winning six in the decider.
Cats coach Daniel McAlister was ecstatic to welcome back the premiership forward.
“Trent is a proven performer and will give us a lot of stability in attack,” McAlister said.
“History says all premiership sides have that dominant forward and Trent certainly provides that.
“Henty had Jason Brown last year and Brock-Burrum had Kylin Morey the year before that.
“So to get Trent back is a huge coup as far as our finals aspirations are concerned.”
The Cats have also signed former junior Tyler Webster while star utility Rory Muggivan has also committed for another season.
Webster played in a flag for Narrandera two year’s ago and won the Eagles best and fairest last season.
Triple best and fairest winner Matt Clarke also committed before Christmas after spending this year with Ganmain Grong-Grong Matong.
McAlister said the Cats were also trying to lure premiership midfielder Luke Heyme back to the club after having last season off.
“I’m fairly happy how we will line up this season,” McAlister said.
“We have got the attack to put most opposition sides under pressure. Our midfield and defence also look solid.
“The X-factor will be our kids coming through the thirds after winning the past two flags.
“They will be given plenty of opportunities and I think we should be thereabouts at the business end.”
