Mrs Jeffes and nine other jumpers took off from Jandakot and landed in Langley Park.
Mrs Jeffes had always wanted to jump since living near Pinjarra, where other people did skydiving, and said it lived up to her expectations.
“It was absolutely fabulous,” she said.
“The strange thing was I didn’t feel nervous at all. The freefall I didn’t particularly enjoy but when the shoot opened I didn’t want it to end.”
Mrs Jeffes said the feeling of excitement didn’t end when she touch back on the ground.
“It was really funny when I landed, I felt like Kylie Minogue,” she said. “There was a round of applause, a glass of champagne was put in my hands and there were seven or eight reporters there all taking my photo.”
Mrs Jeffes said to be able to support the RSPCA from the jump was fantastic.
“The fact I’d wanted to skydive for so long and had supported the RSPCA for a long time as well and I could do both at the same time, I just had to do it,” she said.
The skydiving group raised $13,500 for the charity with the Mrs Jeffes bringing in close to $3000.
David van Ooran, RSPCA chief executive said Mrs Jeffes was an inspiration.
“We think it is a fabulous and thank her for choosing us to raise money for,” he said.
