STORYTIME
March 14: Canberra children's author and scientist. Gina Newton is holding a storytime for kids at Harry Hartog bookshop in Westfield Woden at 2pm. She will be reading her book Blossom Possum.
WINE, WRITING AND DANCE
March 14: Canberra writers are joining Folk Dance Canberra for an evening of dance and story at 7pm at Folk Dance Canberra Hall, 114 Maitland St, Hackett. Canberra horror writer Kaaron Warren will read late in the evening and Gillian Polack, author and folk dancer (with a new book out), and other writers will also read their works. WRITING LESSON

NOTED FESTIVAL
March 20-22: The Noted Festival, Canberra's first experimental festival of words, will offer free workshops, Q&As, exhibitions, and live and online events suitable for all ages and disciplines. It takes place in several venues in Civic and Braddon and is free. Website: notedfestival.com.
