General manager Rob Kelly said that the funding program provided opportunities for groups to participate in natural resource management from the industry sector, Landcare groups and all community groups at a grassroots level.
Last year Riverina Local Land Services provided $12,000 to assist local community welfare group Compact to develop and deliver an innovative educational camp targeted at secondary students interested in pursuing careers in agriculture.
Applications close April 13 and are available at riverina.lls.nsw.gov.au.
