Schulz was nabbed for high-range drink-driving, disqualified driving and drug possession in 2010.
He went into residential rehabilitation at Wagga with a condition to live at Lavington after completing a three-month course and report to police in Albury within 24 hours of his release.
But he did not comply with those conditions and a warrant was issued for him in early 2011.
Four years later Schulz, 49, faces sentencing in Albury Local Court on April 21 after the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Police facts outlined how Schulz was driving along Mate Street at North Albury about 2.25am on July 29, 2010.
He was swerving on the road when being followed by a police vehicle and an officer activating his flashing lights to stop him.
Schulz pulled over in his car, stepped out from the driver’s door and walked to the police car behind him.
“Yeah, you got me,” he said before being asked for his licence and admitting he was disqualified.
Three passengers in his vehicle got out and walked to the road side.
Police saw Schulz trying to hand something to one of the other occupants and separated them.
When they asked Schulz whether he had anything, he replied: “Yeah, dope.”
When later weighed, the bag and contents was 5.5 grams. A blood alcohol reading at the police station was 0.175.
