Mittagong’s Melissa and John Roman, dressed as Where’s Wally characters as part of their Wollondilly Wanderers branch theme, get a thrill out of people asking the catchcry of “Where’s Wally?”
“It never gets old,” Mr Roman said.
“It helps that our club members are all dressed the same because we can easily find each other in the crowd.”
And a crowd there certainly was with more than 3000 motorcyclists, Border residents and tourists, who gathered at The Cube Wodonga and Woodland Grove for a grand parade and market.
Then there was Kerry Hobbs, of Queensland, who attended the parade with her M&M mascot on the back of her motorbike.
Ms Hobbs made a spectacular display as she rode her bike with a group of 20 other Ulysses members from Darling Downs.
“It was quite a long way, but very much worth it to be here — Wodonga is such a lovely place,” she said.
Wodonga’s Renee Stott, 31, and her son Ace, 4, got up close and personal with the bikes.
“They are pretty cool to see on the road, but even better to see up close,” Miss Stott said.
“Ace keeps saying he loves the bikes.”
