Social licence can be defined as acceptance or approval continually granted to the activities of an industry or an organisation by the community.
UDV president and South Purrumbete dairy farmer Adam Jenkins said now was the time for dairy farmers to have their say on issues which have the potential to impact dairy farming in Victoria.
“The Victorian dairy industry has a farmgate value of $2.4 billion across 4284 farms; it is vital we are on the front-foot of issues which may threaten the future of our industry,” he said.
