It has brought on side young sports stars including Bridget Johnston and Brooke Dickie, both selected for the Australian under-18 water polo team.
The young women have highlighted the issue faced by many young people in regional areas who begin to reach an elite level in their sport but who must then travel to train because suitable facilities are not available at home.

Fish Out of Water wants a 50-metre indoor pool for swimming, water polo, diving and other water sports.
