McDonald and Mennen have spent time with Collingwood’s reserves and shape as huge inclusions in the battle between the two top teams.
The Chargers are the only undefeated team after four rounds.
Murray Bushrangers coach Darren Ogier said his players were looking forward to playing on Anzac Day.
“It’s a unique opportunity to play football on Anzac Day,” Ogier said.
“Each player lucky enough to be selected will be give their all in what promises to be a great game against a top-class outfit.”
Mansfield young gun James Cousins will make his debut following outstanding form for Mansfield in the Goulburn Valley Football League.
“James has had a really good preparation and if it wasn’t for his cricket commitments would likely to have played in round one,” Ogier said.
“He runs hard, uses the ball well and thoroughly deserves his chance.”
The Wangaratta RSL will conduct an Anzac Service before the game at 12.45pm.
Meanwhile, Wodonga Raiders youngster Wil Donaghey has been selected in the Victorian Country under-16 squad to play in the Australian championships.
Shepparton’s Jordan Butts and Euroa’s Jett Trotter also made the cut.
The Victorian Country team is coached by Leon Higgins (Albury) with Justin McMahon (Wangaratta) the midfield assistant.
