IN last week’s column it was stated that Dartmouth pondage had been stocked in the past two years; this is not so, it has not been stocked during that time.

Lake Dartmouth: Have you had a fish up in the lake and did you take home some feeds of trout?
Most of the fishos have been getting trout; some of them are deep so trolling with your worms, mudeyes and lures (tassies) around 10-15 metres will help.
Some trout are also being caught at 2-4metres so get around the water and see how you go.
On the way home have a fish in the pondage or down in the Mitta River, which has been fishing good for nice big trout using small lures and worms.
Down the Hume Weir end the cod are still on the bite using spinnerbaits.
Kiewa River: yes, down at the Murray River end some good cod have been caught with baits, spinnerbaits just walking the banks, but have a go at the lures that you have and see how you go.
Kids, don’t forget on weekends to have a fish in the little waterways around the North East for some yellowbelly.
Most of the places you can get your baits in; if you get a photo send it in to have a chance of winning The Hook trophy.
