It added that the Woolworths campaign was also slammed by the Federal Minister for Veteran Affairs Michael Ronaldson.
Nearer home, a brochure titled “commemorating 100 years of ANZAC spirit” recently appeared in my letter box — four of the eight printed sections bore the name of the member for Farrer Sussan Ley.
There were two identical photographs of Ms Ley, both labelled “Sussan Ley MP Federal Member for Farrer”, with one also giving her contact details.
Her name and MP also appear on two other sections.
When commemorating such an important and solemn occasion as this centenary remembrance, I find that as offensive as Woolworths grossly misguided publicity.
