WHEN Survival Day (aka “Invasion Day” on January 26), is marked with the same respect as Anzac Day; when similar promotion, funding and ceremony are undertaken, ... then saying “sorry,” to our indigenous Australians would have some real meaning.

And then, we could all support peace commemorations in honour of all our brothers and sisters who in good faith, risk their lives in the defence forces, (as mine did), rather than glorifying the colonisers’ version of history.
