Members from the Murray Group as well as the Kiewa Valley Group came together at Sumsion Gardens for the annual Women Walk the World event.
CWA Murray Group international officer Lynette Buck said the walk had been held on the Border the past three years and was run across the world by the Associated Country Women of the World.
“You can go anywhere and walk as long as you want,” Mrs Buck said.
“Some people even just walk around a building.”
Mrs Buck said the walk raised money for developing countries and awareness of the struggles of their people.
