Given the way it was wrapped and tied in a knot at one end, this was intentional.
It appeared it had also been tied to a tree across the intersection of Lytham Court and Inverness Street, West Wodonga.
To the idiot(s) that attempted this prank, this action would kill, maim/cripple or seriously injure a cyclist, motorcyclist, or scooter rider than rides into it.
A lot of children use this route and its on a hill so speed would be a factor. Apologising later or showing remorse is too late.
And I fear your stupidity is inviting someone to catch you and to physically (and illegally) give you what you deserve — what you are potentially dishing out to others.
The plastic came from a building site, identified by the logos.
Builders and developers in West Wodonga — some sites are an eyesore. Tidiness shows respect for others.
The council also appears to be asleep at the wheel in respect of enforcing tidy building sites.
