Karen Davis, who was charged with disorderly behaviour, made headlines around the world, but ruffled a few feathers along the way.
“At least it hasn’t gone to court. No fine, just a letter to say ‘don’t do it again!’” Ms Davis said.
Despite the feathers ruffled, she says she wants to do it again next time the camera car comes to town
“I have no regrets. It is just a shame some people took it so badly because it was not my intention to offend anyone,” she said.
“I want to start a movement and do it in a big group. If we wear a mask they won’t know it’s us. Sunrise host Samantha Armytage said she would do it with me.”
One particular issue that fuelled the story was a police statement that her “actions were the same as someone flashing their genitals”.
“That was an absolute disgrace and part of the reason I want to do it again,” Ms Davis said.
Media groups that picked up Ms Davis’ story ranged globally and the story was even covered by Playboy men’s magazine.
“I have always said I would do Playboy, but they haven’t contacted me,” Ms Davis said.
“I think the council should pay me for getting this town on the map. Africa, Germany, Switzerland, America; they all know Port Pirie.”
