Down 1-0 and 2-1, it was Jess Thomas who netted the equaliser at Jelbart Park.
But despite missing two realistic chances in the dying minutes to pinch victory, Boomers coach Steve Hayes was happy with the point.
“We had four out with injury, just one on the bench but we played some great football,” he said.
“In the first half we continued to find feet, but probably ran out of legs in the last 45 minutes.
“We had chances at the death to win it but to be fair they had their share of shots that hit the woodwork too.
“I thought our back four were good — Bella Claxton and Jenae Abel out wide, Gemma Noordewier and Lucy Smith in the middle — while Jess Noordewier in goals was outstanding, pulling off some great saves in the first half that really kept us in the game.”
