Voigt was instrumental in the Blues claiming drought-breaking flag win over Corryong last year.
He capped a dominant season when awarded the VCFL medal for best on ground in the decider.
Voigt has played seven matches with the Hawks this season and featured in the best on five occasions.
The second-placed Blues will be hoping he is cleared in time to tackle third-placed Bullioh at Cudgewa on Saturday.
There will be no shortage of incentive for Corryong to notch its first win of the season when the Demons host fierce rival Federal.
The Demons will be staging a reunion to celebrate their premiership wins of 1985, 1995 and most recent flag in 2005.
And while the Demons are no hope of adding another premiership a decade apart, a large contingent of former players are expected to attend and reminisce about former glories.
Andy Whitsed (1985), Brendon Attree (1995) and John Waldron (2005) were the successful coaches.
Evan Nicholas was part of the 2005 flag triumph as a teenager and is in his second stint at the helm of Corryong this season.
Tumbarumba should prove too strong for Border-Walwa.
