The managing director of The Next Step Financial Group was one of eight nominees in the female excellence in advice awards at the annual count conference, held in Adelaide, earlier this year.
Miss Broadfoot, 30, who was nominated by Count Management, said the win was a real honour.
“Both of the finalists are role models of mine, so it’s an extreme honour,” she said.
“This award is a testament to the support from our clients and the dedication of our team that really makes me feel proud about what we do.
“It goes to show that we have quality advice in the Albury area just as much as any other.”
The advice she provides include life insurance, managed investment schemes, superannuation and business insurance.
Miss Broadfoot said the best part of winning was the knowledge that her business was making a difference to the lives of its clients.
“We are helping them with their financial future and ensuring they get financial advice with a personal touch,” she said.
With 11 years of experience in financial planning advice, she has an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning through Kaplan Professional.
Miss Broadfoot is also completing a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) Degree at Deakin University.
Count Financial chief executive officer David Lane said Miss Broadfoot was a very deserving winner of the award.
“She embodies professionalism within the Count network,” he said.
“Her expertise, professional quality and client skills are excellent.”
