His reply is simply.
“‘Skillsy’ (Darryn McKimmie) kicking the goal after the siren, but that’s about it,” Sanson said yesterday.
“The game was that intense you didn’t have time to think about anything.
“It was just relentless for four quarters.
“I have never played in anything like it.”
While the premiership coach has watched a DVD of the one-point victory, he expects the memories to come flooding back when Lavington holds a reunion at Lavington Oval today.
Only defender Lachie Boyd, who is overseas, will miss the reunion.
The club will hold a get together on the deck at today’s clash against Myrtleford with the festivities to continue at a ball at SS and A Club tonight.
