The last time the pair met it was Falcons taking the points with a 1-0 win but the Corowa Rutherglen combine will look to the attacking strike power of Milli Holz and fast improving Grace Ronnfeldt to consolidate their place at the top of the ladder.
Falcons will rely on the experience of Jess Madden and Kate Bardy to steer an emerging group of young guns around the park.
That pair will look to free up their developing combination of strikers in Sally Borella, Carly Van Kesteren and Chelsea Fellows.
In other women’s games Norths will look to break through after three consecutive draws, while Magpies should have too much firepower for Wombats.
In the men’s main game United will be keen to get back to the winners’ list and avoid losing three in a row against the improvingFalcons.
Defender Stuart Martin will again need to provide a platform for United, with the experience of Tim Jones in the midfield looking to create opportunities for the likes of Matt Baker, David Foster and the always dangerous Dylan Martin.
Expect Falcons developing keeper James Towne to be fully tested.
In other men’s games Magpies Brenton Newnham and always dangerous striker Jeremy Maggs will get them over the line against Wombats, while Wodonga will be too strong for the capable Norths.
