However, how is it that Joe Hockey or any other parliamentarian can stand up in the house and make as many derogatory remarks as he or she likes about anyone or organisation they like and get away with it under parliamentary privilege?
I thought that in a democracy no one is above the law and no one is below the law.
What right do these politicians have to use legislation to put themselves above the rest of us?
Democracy in this country is a joke.
And besides, if Joe Hockey cannot stand the heat, he should get out.
